Wartorn is an unofficial, community-built companion tool for Torn and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Torn.
Your Torn player ID and username, your Torn API key and FFScouter API key (both encrypted at rest), and cached public Torn data (names, levels, faction membership, battle-stat estimates, online status) for players you or your faction encounter.
To fetch your own account data (stats, cooldowns, chain progress, travel status) so the dashboard can show it to you.
To fetch public Torn data (faction rosters, chain reports, a target's basic profile) on behalf of other members of your current Torn faction who also use Wartorn - and vice versa, other members' keys may be used to fetch public data on your behalf. This exists purely to spread Torn's API rate limits fairly across everyone using the tool together. It is never used across different factions, and never used to view any of your private account details on someone else's behalf.
Your key is never used to take any in-game action - no attacks, no item transfers, no faction actions, no messages. It is only ever used for read-only requests to Torn's own public API.
Your FFScouter key (or Torn key, if you don't provide a separate one) is used to fetch fair-fight and battle-stat estimates for scouting targets, subject to FFScouter's own terms of service. It's optional at login - the Chains and Leveling tabs will ask for one if you visit them without a working key on file.
If installed, the Tampermonkey companion script reads public data already visible to you on torn.com pages you browse (e.g. item shop stock) and relays it back to Wartorn to improve shared features like the Flight Planner. It doesn't access anything beyond what Torn's own pages already display to you.
The site administrator can see aggregate usage telemetry (call counts, login history, rate-limit status) to operate and troubleshoot the service. Your API keys are stored encrypted and are never displayed in plaintext anywhere in the admin panel.
Cached player data persists to reduce repeated calls to Torn/FFScouter. Contact the administrator in-game to request removal of your data.
